What is a find the object in slime game ?
A find the object buried in slime game is usually a race (or one section of a larger obstacle course) in which contestants are required to dive into a pool or pit full of sloppy, disgusting slime, attempting to be the first person to find the hidden object. Finding the object first could mean they win the game or they can continue onto the next challenge in a larger obstacle course (this is common on TV game shows). In the example video above we used dice to hide in the slime and played the game in a similar way to musical chairs. In the first round we had 5 competitors and only 4 dice. The first 4 people to find a die advanced to the second round, whoever missed out dropped out of the game. The next round consisted of 4 competitors racing to find only 3 die, and so forth until only 1 dice remained with 1 winner finding it first.

How to Play the Slimy Treasure Pirates Slime Game!
Fill up to 12 Slimageddon buckets with slime and position them on a table or on the grass. There must be at least one more bucket than the number of players. Have one person who is not playing the game designated as the referee. The referee hides coins in the slime buckets without the players seeing. Have one less coin than the number of participants in each round.
Players start standing a few yards away from the buckets.
When the referee shouts GOO!! players race over to select a bucket. They stick their arm into their chosen bucket hoping to find a coin.
If they do not think their bucket contains a coin they can switch to another bucket, but only if someone is not already searching in that bucket.
If a player finds a coin they remove it from the bucket, hold it up in the air and shout “YARHH!”. They have survived the round and should immediately stop searching.
Once all players except one have found a treasure the round is complete. The pirate that failed to find gold is out of the round.
One coin is removed from the game and the coins are once again hidden in the buckets for the start of round two.
One player will slowly be eliminated from each round. The final round will consist of two players searching to find only one coin amongst the many buckets. The first player to find this coin is designated the King of the Pirates.
Tips for hiding the coins: finding coins in slime is harder than you might think. For younger players we suggest placing only one coin in each bucket to help them narrow their search. To make things more challenging you can place one coin in each bucket, or several coins in the same slime bucket. Just make sure players are instructed to only ever remove one coin per round. Once they have a coin they should move away from the playing area to allow the others to continue their search.
Making a pool of slime for a find the object challenge
We were lucky enough to be able to use a large inflatable slide with a pool at the end for our find the object slime races. While this was awesome fun, having a large slide like this is not required. You can have hilarious find the object in slime races by simply filling an inflatable pool with water, and adding the right amount of Party GOAT Instant Slime Powder.
Each bag of Party GOAT Instant Slime will make 25 Gallons of Slime (95L). You can use our Slime Calculator to work out how many bags of slime you will need for whatever sized pool you have. Lightly sprinkle the powder into the water while mixing to avoid the slime clumping. Find the object game rules
There are a number of ways that this game can be played. The most important rule is to make sure that the competitors are not watching when you hide the objects in the pool. Competitors should have their backs turned. When you say go they turn around, race over to the pool and jump in to begin the search. Alternatively you can set up smaller tubs full of slime if you do not want the competitors to fully submerge themselves in the slime. They can then dig around with their arms only inside the tub.
Easter egg hunts in slime
Find the object in slime races are especially fun at Easter time for Easter Egg hunts. Bury plastic easter eggs in the slime that can be exchanged later for chocolate eggs or other prizes. Have the kids race to find the easter eggs buried in the slime. This is a hilarious way for the kids to earn their Easter eggs.
The kids will enjoy searching in the slime as much as the parents will enjoy watching the ridiculous slimy fun.
