Party GOAT gender reveal powder is not intended to stain or dye clothing. 

Dry powder is unlikely to leave stains on most materials. When the color powder gets wet and soaks into clothes (from water or sweat) additional cleaning may be required.

Caution: Porous surfaces (leather, vinyl, suede, foam) are challenging to clean. 

Avoid wearing valuable items to color events.

How do I clean soaked in color powder from clothes?

Follow the steps below to remove or prevent stains:

  • Wash clothes promptly after the event to prevent colors from setting in.
  • Shake off excess dry color powder outdoors.
  • Soak clothes in a laundry soaker (like Oxiclean) overnight.
  • For white clothes, you can use a laundry whitener.
  • Wash in a heavy-duty cycle with an inwash booster.
  • Dry clothes in the sun.

Is gender reveal color powder safe?

Yes, Party GOAT Color Powder is made from cornstarch and food grade colors. It is biodegradable, gluten free, and safe for skin and the environment. Wearing sunglasses can help to protect your eyes. If powder gets in your eyes, rinse with water.  

Does gender reveal powder stain hair or skin?

Regular soap and water should effectively remove gender reveal powder from your skin and hair. However, some color may persist for a few days, particularly on blonde hair. To prevent staining, consider applying a moisturizer to your skin and using a leave-in conditioner or coconut oil on your hair before the event. Alternatively, you might want to wear a hat or bandana.

How do I clean gender reveal color powder from outdoor areas?

If the dry color powder gets on your walls, footpaths, driveways etc. we recommend using a leaf blower firstly to blow it off on to the grass. You can then use a hose and sponge if necessary to finish the job.
