Nickelodeon slime game shows
A quick history on slime game shows and slime on TV.
As shown in the video below slime first appeared on Nickelodeon TV in the 1979 hit show - You can't do that on Television. Slime was an instant hit and from that moment on Nickelodeon continued to produce a string of slime related game shows. In the 1980s Nickelodeon's slime game show "Double Dare" was a huge hit and has since featured several reboots including a version that aired from 2018 to 2019. In the 90s "Wild and Crazy Kids" and "Figure It Out" were very popular game shows with slime. In early 2000's "Slime Time Live" ran slime shows for 8 seasons. More recently in the 2010s the Slime game shows "Brain Surge" and "The Slime Cup" have entertained kid's with their ridiculous, fun, slime action. These shows all featured huge amounts of slime being dumped on people's head, in various colors and consistencies. The game shows with slime on Nickelodeon all had different challenges, questions to be answered, riddles to be solved, or obstacle courses to complete, but the one thing they all had in common was huge amounts of slime! Today Nickelodeon still features celebrity slimings on it's yearly Kid's Choice Awards Show. As you can see slime has been popular for decades and kid's love of slime isn't going away any time soon.

Slime Game Show!
In the video below we show you a quick and easy way to set up your own slime game show challenges at home. We made this awesome slime race challenge using a few items we found lying around the house - some PVC down pipe, down pipe end caps, duct tape, and rope. The PVC downpipes were used to create a slime shoot that sits above a challengers head's, full of slime. The end caps hold the slime in place. Players race to complete a challenge with the first to complete the challenge being permitted to pull the cap off the pipe over the top of their opponents head. Watch as slime pours down like rain, in a yucky, sloppy, hilarious, stream. In the video below we have slime races using dice (first to roll three 1s), using puzzle pieces (first to complete their puzzle) and using plastic cups (first to flip 3 cups and land them upside down). The winner of each round gets to pull the rope releasing the slime in a glorious victory. There are so many games you can play with Instant slime. These are just a few examples to get you going.
Slime Bucket Target Game
Another great slime game that you can easily set up is the slime bucket target challenge. This is a carnival style game that works in a similar way to a dunking machine. Contestants attempt to hit the target, which in this instance is a large bucket of slime. If you hit the target the bucket of slime will drop over the top of the volunteer's head covering them in slippery slime. This game can be used for fun at home with the kids or as an awesome fundraising activity for schools, sports groups and non profits. Charge contestants per ball for the chance to drop a bucket of slime on a teacher, boss, parent, coach or volunteers head! Click here for more unique fundraising ideas using slime.

More Games with Slime
Two more fun games with Party GOAT instant slime.
Find the object slime game - For this slime game you will need to fill a large inflatable pool with instant slime. Tell the kid's to close their eyes and hide something small underneath the slime (such as a coin or easter egg). When you say go the kids need to jump into the pool and race to find the hidden object. This game can also be played like musical chairs. If there are 6 kid's for example, hide 5 small objects. Whoever fails to find an object drops out of the game, play continues with one less object each round.
Slime time game - You can add a sliming element to any game. For example you could have the kid's play a game of Jenga. Write "slime time" on a few of the blocks. If anyone is unfortunate enough to draw a slime time block, they are made to sit in the "slime chair" while someone pours a cup or bucket of slime over their head. You could add other blocks as well such as "no slime for me", if someone draws this block then they are safe from sliming for the next three rounds. At the end of the game, the player that makes the tower fall could also get slimed!
DIY Pitch Burst with Slime
Pitch Burst is an alternative to a dunking machine that can be set up for a very low price. Contestants throw balls at a target. If the target is struck a trigger arm will pop a balloon full of slime over the top of their challenger's head. Watch the video below to learn how to make a DIY version of Pitch Burst with a few items you might already have lying around this house. This is another great game to be used as a fundraising activity at Spring Carnivals, School fetes and other non for profit fundraisers.
Games with Jello and Instant Mud

Slime Balloon Slingshot Challenge
The video below features a slime game show challenge that featured on the TV show Double Dare. In the slime challenge contestants fire slime bombs at a target. A successful hit will result in the slime funneling down into their container. The first team to fill their container with slime is the winner. This game would be easy to recreate with water bombs filled with Party Goat Instant Slime. Check out our video on how to make slime bombs below. Set up a target with a container to catch the slime.
