How to set up a Mud Wrestling pool?
Party GOAT® Instant Mud has been specially designed to make mud wrestling as easy as possible. Simply add the correct amount of water to an inflatable pool (60 Gallons of water (230L) for every bag of mud powder). Sprinkle the Instant Mud powder into the water while stirring to avoid clumping. The Mud Wrestling powder will instantly begin to transform into a thick, dark, clean mud.
Buying a Mud Wrestling pool
The best pools to choose to make a mud wrestling pit have 3, or at the very least 2 inflatable rings. These inflatable pools hold their shape better if a mud wrestler lands on the edge. This helps to keep the wrestling mud from spilling over the edges. Also if one of the rings of the mud pool accidentally pops you still have one or two rings to hold the mud in, so the wrestling action can continue. Some good pool options are listed below. The bigger the pool the better, as it will give the mud wrestlers more room to throw each other around, and more than two people can mud wrestle at once. Larger pools do cost a bit more though, and require more mud, so select a pool based on your budget. Don't worry too much, we have had a great time wrestling in some fairly small mud wrestling pools.

How to dispose of
Mud Wrestling Mud
Party GOAT Instant Mud is environmentally friendly. After wrestling the mud can be bucketed into garden beds or trash bins where it will naturally break down over time. The product is pet safe and non scented.
To help your mud break down faster you can add salt to the mixture and it will quickly turn back into water for easy draining from your pool. We would recommend roughly 100oz of salt (3kg) per 60 gallon pack of mud.
Mud Wrestling Safety
• Party GOAT Instant Mud is non toxic and biodegradable.
• There is no need to worry if you get it in your mouth. Although not designed for consumption, there are no negative health effects expected from swallowing small amounts of Instant Mud.
• Wrestling is a contact sport and Instant mud is slippery. We highly recommend placing some form of padding, such as a foam mattress, underneath your pool, especially when setting up a mud wrestling pool on hard surfaces.
• Quickly clean away mud from foot traffic areas to prevent slip hazards.

Party GOAT Mud was designed to be non sticky and non staining. After wrestling simply wipe the excess mud off of your body and back into the pool. Most of the mud will come out of your clothes under a hose or shower. Any brown color will wash out of clothes in a normal machine wash and out of your hair with a gentle scrub with shampoo.

What is Mud Wrestling?
Mud wrestling is a form of entertainment where people wrestle each other in a pit or inflatable pool full of mud. In the USA and Australia mud wrestling is popular at college parties and bachelor parties. It is a great source of entertainment for not only the people wrestling, but even more so for the spectators at the event. Wrestling mud makes it hard to get a grip on your opponent and is slippery under foot, so participants slip and slide around in the mud wrestling ring trying to get ahold of each other. Mud wrestling is often used as a fun way to draw crowds to pubs and events. People love to watch and participate in mud wrestling. Mud wrestling has a ridiculous element to it that is sure to get people laughing. Mud wrestling is a more challenging form of wrestling, made more difficult due to the slippery coating of mud. People of all ages and genders enjoy wrestling in mud. It is very rare to see a mud wrestling competitor leave the mud wrestling ring without a huge mud covered grin on their face.
Where did mud wrestling originate?
Mud wrestling can be found in various forms around the world, dating back centuries. An article in National Geographic details an ancient from of mud wrestling out of India and Pakistan that dates as far back as 4th century B.C. In Greek and Roman culture much of the wrestling was done with the competitors covering themselves in oil. This was to increase the difficulty and help develop strength and technique. Mud was supposedly used as a substitute when competitors were unable to afford the oil. Oil wrestling also called grease wrestling is the Turkish national sport and large competitions still run to this day.
Oil Wrestling, Pudding Wrestling, Chocolate Wrestling
Mud comes in many colours ranging from grey to brown to black. Our fake mud formula looks quite dark when sitting in the pool but appears lighter when it covers your body, face and hair.
